DESCRIPTION:Join us for a seminar to learn all about the I-494 construction project and how it will impact your commute. You’ll also hear about the free resources\navailable for carpooling\, taking transit\, and biking to work.\nThe first of four construction projects that are part of the I-494: Airport to Hwy 169 vision began in spring 2023. Project 1 work will be done on I-494 in Edina\, Bloomington\, and Richfield through fall 2026\, with the heaviest construction occurring in 2024 and 2025.\nOur presenters are Tim Clyne\, MnDOT’s I-494 Construction Manager and Kate Meredith\, Vice President at Commuter Services. There will be time for Q & A after the presentation. \nPresentation Will Cover:\nI-494 project overview\n2023 work completed\n2024 work proposed\, focusing on \n\nI-494 / TH 100 / East Bush Lake Road / American Blvd. areas\nTraffic control / detour routes\n\n2025-2026 work proposed\nProject contacts / communication\nFree programs and resources for sustainable commuting \nRegistration required so we can plan for food.
