Last fall, the 9 Mile Creek Watershed District and the City of Bloomington
began a multi-step project to improve the water quality of Normandale Lake.
Come hear representatives from both organizations discuss how the project
is going so far, what the next steps are, and what monitoring will be done to measure success.

Additionally, stop by on your lunch/walk break, and proceed to the Normandale Lake boat launch, near the ski jump on Chalet Road. There will be a demonstration explaining the Normandale Lake alum treatment.
On Wednesday, May 8, from 12:15-1:15, HAB Aquatic Solutions will explain what alum is and how it can improve water quality; they will also give a demonstration of the barge application process. The Normandale Lake alum application will occur the second week of May.
