I-494 Construction Project
The I-494 Edina, Bloomington and Richfield project is the first of four construction projects that are part of the I-494: Airport to Hwy 169 vision. It began spring 2023 and is expected to be completed fall 2026.
The project includes the addition of E-ZPass lanes, bridge improvements, a new pedestrian bridge, and construction of a new interchange at I-35W and I-494.
